If you are going to London, why not take some organized bus tours. That will give you information about the various parts of town, you can see and enjoy all the historical things London has to offer, and the tour operators will certainly be able to tell you where you can go to shop, what pubs are good for a person your age, etc.

To remove road salt from leather (could be on shoes, coat, etc.), try this simple recipe:
1 part water
1 part white vinegar
Take a cloth and dip into the solution, blot over the shoes or coat lightly to remove the salt. You may have to do this several times to clean the entire surface. When you finish they should look almost like new (figure C). Be sure to wipe leather shoes with a damp cloth frequently, and keep them well polished with a paste.

You must give legal notice. Address this to both 1) the tenants who had the rental agreement, and 2) "all other tenants". The law allows you to deliver this in at least a couple of different ways, including hiring a process server, or by "mail and nail", meaning you send the notice by certified mail and also post it on the door.
Landlord/tenant laws tend to favor the tenants in California. You'll have to go through the whole eviction process correctly (including using the correct and most recent form), and if you do any element incorrectly, you have to start all over again. I'd advise doing a little background research (check out nolo.com), but then hire a company that does evictions – it'll be well worth the cost. Good luck.
